About the Information We Collect

On our website we give you the option to sign up for one of our e-mail lists or make a purchase or donation from our site. In doing so, you agree to be contacted by us. If we collect your information through other means, you may receive one e-mail invitation to join our ongoing online communications, but unless you proactively sign up on our list, we will not contact you again. We never send attachments with any email. If you get an attachment on an email purporting to originate from the Big Sur Arts Initiative, do not open it since it is likely to be a virus!

The only information required to sign up for one of our e-mail lists is your name and email address. If you choose to enter more information, such as your phone number or address, we may contact you through these methods as well, on a very limited basis. Your information is never given to a third party unless required by law.

When making purchases or donations on our site through Google Checkout, you have the option of choosing to be contacted by us again or not. You also have the option of hiding your e-mail contact information from us. We honor the choices you make.

During your visit to the Big Sur Arts Initiative website, we may track the type and version number of your browser and operating system as well as the region or city you are visiting us from. We use this for general administration and improvement of the website only.
